A bus driver was killed and two passengers got injured after a passenger bus collided with a trailer on the M-1 Motorway near Taxila, the rescue officials said on Monday.

WAH CANTT, Jun 8 (APP):A bus driver was killed and two passengers got injured after a passenger bus collided with a trailer on the M-1 Motorway near Taxila, the rescue officials said on Monday.
The emergency response teams rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the crash and provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to a nearby hospital .
The driver, identified as Nazeer Muhammad, died on the spot , according to rescue authorities.
The Rescue personnel retrieved his body from the wreckage and transported it to a hospital.
The injured were identified as Syed Talib Shah and his wife, they added.
The rescue authorities said the emergency operation was completed and the site was cleared.
The authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
