Sindh Governor, CM reaffirm commitment to protecting oceans
KARACHI, Jun 08 (APP):Sindh Governor Muhammad Nehal Hashmi and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah have reaffirmed their commitment to protecting our oceans, coastline, mangroves and marine biodiversity for future generations.
In their separate messages on World Oceans Day, they said that Sindh’s coastline and the Indus Delta are among our most valuable natural treasures.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that oceans are the source of life, producing over 50 percent of the Earth’s oxygen and supporting millions through food, livelihoods and environmental balance.
He said that the Sindh Government remains committed to preserving coastal ecosystems, protecting mangroves, reducing pollution and promoting sustainable environmental practices.
