KOHAT, Jun 8 (APP):The district administration has intensified inspections across health, education and sanitation sectors to improve public service delivery, following directives issued by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Muhammad Nawaz.
Assistant Commissioner (HQ) Naveed Ahmad visited several Basic Health Units (BHUs) along Hangu Road, where he reviewed compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), assessed the availability of medicines and medical facilities, and checked staff attendance records to ensure the effective provision of healthcare services.
The assistant commissioner also inspected schools located along Hangu Road, focusing on staff attendance, discipline and adherence to government-prescribed SOPs. Officials concerned were directed to maintain standards and improve facilities under the District Service Delivery (DSD) initiative.
Separately, Additional Assistant Commissioner Gumbat, Syed Mukhtiar Shah visited Government Higher Secondary School, Togh Bala and Government High School, Babri Banda, where he reviewed cleanliness, attendance and the availability of basic .
The instructions were issued to school staff to address shortcomings and further improve conditions.
As part of the DSD agenda, Syed Mukhtiar Shah also inspected two waste disposal sites on Pindi Road.
He reviewed sanitation arrangements, waste collection and disposal procedures, and overall waste management practices.
The staff members were instructed to strengthen cleanliness measures, promptly address public complaints and ensure strict implementation of official guidelines.
The district administration reiterated its commitment to enhancing transparency, improving public service delivery and providing better facilities for residents in the health, education and sanitation sectors.
