CTO Virk reviews performance of electric vehicles deployed with ITP
ISLAMABAD, Jun 07 (APP):Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk inspected electric vehicles provided to Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and reviewed their operational readiness and performance for public service and traffic management duties.
An official told APP on Sunday that the CTO Virk conducted a detailed inspection of the electric vehicle fleet and received a comprehensive briefing on its operational efficiency, maintenance mechanism and charging infrastructure.
Virk reviewed the vehicles’ performance and their role in facilitating traffic management and improving mobility of traffic officers in the federal capital.
During the inspection, the CTO Virk directed officers to ensure effective rush management and provide timely assistance to citizens on roads and at public places.
He emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated in the utilization and maintenance of the vehicles or in delivery of public services.
Virk also instructed traffic personnel to deal with citizens in a courteous and professional manner while performing their duties.
The CTO Virk said Islamabad Traffic Police was utilizing modern technology and innovative solutions to improve traffic management and provide better guidance and facilitation to road users across the capital.
