LAHORE, Jun 06 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed gratitude and appreciation over a successful counter-terrorism operation in the Koh-e-Suleman region in which a Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander and another terrorist were killed.
In a statement on Saturday, the CM lauded the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for its swift and effective action, saying that the team had foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists and acted in a highly commendable manner.
She stated that the CTD team responsible for eliminating the terrorists was worthy of full praise, adding that such operations reflect the professionalism and dedication of law enforcement agencies.
The CM, reiterating her government’s stance, said that anyone entering Pakistan with terrorist intentions would be given a strong and decisive response.
She further remarked that terrorists are enemies of humanity and have no religion or ideology, stressing that the fight against extremism would continue with full force.
