RAWALPINDI, Jun 06 (APP): A meeting of the District Coordination Committee with Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi in the chair was held in Murree to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, review administrative affairs and devise a strategy for timely resolution of public issues.
The meeting reviewed departmental performance, ongoing development projects, service delivery, sanitation, traffic management, law and order, tourism arrangements and redressal of public complaints.
The deputy commissioner directed officers to further improve the performance of their respective departments and remain active in the field to provide relief to the public.
He said prompt resolution of public issues was the top priority of the district administration and warned that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
Participants stressed the need to promote inter-departmental cooperation, enhance coordination and ensure provision of better public services through joint efforts.
They expressed commitment to utilise all available resources to ensure good governance and effective public service delivery in Murree district.
The meeting was attended by officials from different departments.
