LAHORE, Jun 05 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of four labourers during sewerage construction work at Faisalabad Industrial Estate.
In a statement on Friday, the Chief Minister extended her heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families. She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for strength and patience for the grieving families to bear this irreparable loss.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif also sought a detailed report from the Commissioner Faisalabad regarding the tragic incident. She directed the concerned authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident and ensure that all necessary measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
The Chief Minister reiterated her commitment to safeguarding the lives of workers and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards at development and construction sites across the province.
