ISLAMABAD, Jun 05 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi remained engaged in important meetings late into the night and reviewed various community policing and public facilitation initiatives aimed at strengthening police-public relations.
An official told APP on Friday that the IGP Rizvi met Director ITP FM 92.4 Ayesha Jameel and her team and discussed measures to further enhance community policing in the federal capital.
The official said the meeting focused on Islamabad Police’s community policing initiatives, educational seminars being conducted in academic institutions and ongoing efforts to improve public awareness and citizen facilitation.
According to the official, participants also exchanged views on utilizing FM radio and other communication platforms to strengthen engagement with citizens and promote public safety awareness.
IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of effective communication with the public and directed that awareness initiatives should continue to reach a wider segment of society.
