Significant step towards modern education: AI school plan ready for Punjab

The Punjab government has prepared a plan to establish two Artificial Intelligence (AI) schools in Lahore at a cost of Rs 81 crore to align the education system with modern technology.

LAHORE, Jun 04 (APP): The Punjab government has prepared a plan to establish two Artificial Intelligence (AI) schools in Lahore at a cost of Rs 81 crore to align the education system with modern technology.
According to official sources, students will be provided with education in artificial intelligence, robotics and modern information technology in these schools so that they can be aligned with the requirements of the future digital era.
Under the plan, smart classrooms, modern computer labs and modern educational facilities will be established in schools. In addition, a proposal to introduce a special AI training program to enhance the professional skills of teachers is also under consideration.
Officials said the main objective of the project is to prepare students for modern technology, digital skills and future jobs so that they can compete globally.
According to officials, the proposed AI schools will be equipped with world-class modern educational facilities and will play an important role in promoting technology-based education in the province.
