Traffic warden helps recover stolen motorcycle

A traffic patrolling officer of Lahore Traffic Police handed over an accused  with a bike to police during a routine checking operation at Kalma Chowk.

LAHORE, Jun 04 (APP):A traffic patrolling officer of Lahore Traffic Police handed over an accused
with a bike to police during a routine checking operation at Kalma Chowk.
According to a spokesperson, Patrolling Officer Muhammad Akram signalled a motorcyclist
without a helmet to stop. However, the rider attempted to flee instead of complying
instructions and tried to evade the traffic wardens.
The spokesperson said the rider’s suspicious behaviour prompted officials to verify
the motorcycle’s record, which revealed that the vehicle had been stolen.
The motorcycle and its rider were subsequently handed over to Garden Town Police Station.
