DERA ISMAIL KHAN , Jun 04 (APP):Police arrested three proclaimed offenders involved in murder and attempted murder cases during a search and strike operation in the Paniala area of Dera Ismail Khan, police said on Thursday.
According to a police spokesman, the operation was conducted on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmad, under the supervision of SP Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan Baloch and DSP Paniala Circle Sardar Alamgir Khan.
SHO Paniala Asghar Khan Wazir led the operation, resulting in the arrest of three wanted suspects identified as Muhammad Tariq, Hanif Ullah and Shaukat Ullah, who were wanted in separate cases of murder and attempted murder registered at Paniala Police Station.
Police also recovered a pistol along with five rounds of ammunition, believed to be the weapon used in the crime.
The arrested suspects have been shifted to custody, while further investigation is underway.
DSP Sardar Alamgir Khan said that operations against criminal elements would continue without discrimination to ensure law and order in the region.
