MIRPUR (AJK), Jun 4 (APP):The three-day annual Urs of the Mashaikh of Mohra Sharif will begin on June 12, at the Mohra Sharif Spiritual Centre in Murree, the organisers announced Thursday.
The annual gathering commemorates the spiritual services of Founder Khwaja Pir Mohammad Qasim Sadiq, Aala Hazrat Pir Mohammad Zahid Khan, Hazrat Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasimi and Hazrat Pir Kaimurrus Badshah.
The organisers said the Urs would continue until June 14 under the central theme of promoting Islamic unity and strengthening faith.
The event will feature religious lectures and addresses by prominent Islamic scholars from across the country and abroad.
The arrangements for the Urs were being supervised by Sajjadah Nasheen Hazrat Pir Aulia Badshah Farooque, who would also lead special concluding prayers on the final day of the event, the organisers said.
Participants will be served traditional langar (communal meal) on June 14.
According to the organisers, Mohra Sharif Urs gatherings are also held annually in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Norway.
