Governor urges officers to play role in ridding society of corruption, nepotism

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday urged officers that they should perform their duties without coming under pressure from anyone and play full role in ridding our society of corruption, nepotism and violation of merit.

QUETTA, Jun 03 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday urged officers that they should perform their duties without coming under pressure from anyone and play full role in ridding our society of corruption, nepotism and violation of merit.
He expressed these views while talking to the officers under training at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Quetta at the Governor House Quetta.
The Governor Balochistan said that training provides maturity in terms of enhancing the capabilities of officers, as a result of which officers start exploring new avenues and also overcome some of their weaknesses.
He said that I congratulate the officers under training at the National Institute of Public Administration Quetta on completing their training course saying that this is not just training from NIPA but also to sharpen your leadership, skills and vision for a secure future. I am very optimistic about this journey of training and learning for you, he said.
Earlier, Director General National Institute of Public Administration Quetta Syed Ali Raza Shah while shedding light on the aims and objectives of the training course said that the presence of the officers under training at NIPA here is a proof of their commitment for professional development and excellent performance in serving the people.
During the interaction, the participants asked Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel questions regarding the law and order situation, the role of bureaucracy, improvement in the performance of public sector universities, the relationship between the federation and the province, and the best use of resources, to which the Governor Balochistan gave detailed answers.
Addressing the officers under training, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that you are not just officers of a specific department, but you are servants of the entire country and the province.
He said that there is a dire need for professional training to enhance the capabilities of officers and ensure good governance because capable and honest officers could play a key role in turning the dream of a developed Balochistan into a reality.
In response to a question, Governor Mandokhel said that it is a fact that sustainable peace is the first condition for the development and prosperity of any country.
He said that due to solid government measures, the law and order situation has improved considerably, after providing this important training by NIPA, all of you have a great responsibility to use your knowledge and experience in your respective fields for the welfare of the people.
