PESHAWAR, Jun 03 (APP): The Directorate of Financial Assistance and Development University of Agriculture (UoA) here Wednesday distributed scholarships to twenty students under Captain Zubair Anwar Khan Scholarship Program.
During the ceremony, scholarships were awarded to twenty students including ten students of Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences and ten students of Faculty of Management and Computer Sciences.
Additional Secretary, Administration Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Akram who was the Chief Guest urged students to foster a spirit of social service alongside their education and make helping others their mission in practical life.
The ceremony was also attended by Professor Dr. Zafarullah Khan, Professor Dr. Abdul Rehman, Professor Dr. Shah Alam Khan, Professor Dr. Iqbal Munir, Principal College of Veterinary Sciences Professor Dr. Murad Ali Khan, Director Vice Chancellor Secretariat Majid Khan, Director Administration Dr. Shoaib Sultan, Director CNEP Gohar ur Rehman Khalil, faculty members, administrative officers, and a large number of students.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Sarzamin Khan presented commemorative shields to Chief Guest Abdul Akram and Captain Zubair Anwar Khan in recognition of their educational and welfare services.
