FAISALABAD, Jun 03 (APP):A youth was found dead in the Barala Canal Branch near the Arkana police post in Tehsil Jaranwala on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials,a rescue team rushed to the site after receiving information about a body floating in the canal near Chak No 374. The rescuers retrieved the body from the water and brought it to the bank.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Qadir(20).
Following completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs. Authorities were conducting further proceedings in accordance with the law.
