In a statement issued on Tuesday, the interior minister lauded the professionalism and operational capabilities of the security forces, saying their timely actions had thwarted the nefarious designs of militants operating in the province.
Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security personnel for eliminating 17 militants during the operations, describing the achievement as a significant success in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
He said the forces had demonstrated exceptional courage, vigilance and professional competence while carrying out the operations.
“The security forces foiled the malicious intentions of Indian-sponsored terrorists in Balochistan through prompt and effective action,” Naqvi said.
He further praised the armed forces and law enforcement personnel for bringing the militants to what he termed an “exemplary end,” adding that the entire nation takes pride in the brave sons of the security forces.
The interior minister reiterated that the people of Pakistan stand firmly alongside the security forces in the fight against terrorism and expressed confidence that such operations would continue to strengthen peace and stability in the country.
