President, PM laud security forces for successful counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD, Jun 02 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Tuesday, commended the security forces for conducting successful intelligence-based operations in various districts of Balochistan and praised their professionalism and bravery.

The president lauded the effective counter-terrorism operations carried out in Mastung, Noshki, Zehri, Khuzdar and Kech districts, which resulted in the elimination of 17 terrorists, the President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.

He reiterated that the complete eradication of the menace of terrorism, sponsored and supported from outside, remained a top priority.

President Zardari emphasized that the nefarious designs of Fitna al-Hindustan and its facilitators would never succeed.

The prime minister commended the security forces for eliminating 17 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and operating under Indian patronage, the PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

He said the nation highly valued the sacrifices and services rendered by the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the country’s security and stability.

The prime minister observed that the successes achieved by the security forces in the fight against terrorism reflected the collective resolve and unity of the entire nation.

He reaffirmed that the nefarious designs of terrorist elements operating under Indian patronage would be thwarted at all costs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif further said that counter-terrorism operations would continue till complete eradication of terrorism from the country.

He reiterated that the government stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces and law enforcement agencies in eliminating the menace of terrorism.

The prime minister vowed that every conspiracy aimed at undermining Pakistan’s peace, stability and development would be decisively defeated.
