QUETTA, Jun 02 (APP): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday directed the concerned authorities to timely ensure completion of ongoing development projects with standard keeping in mind the public needs and ground realities and to provide maximum facilities to the people by improving administrative.
He shared these views while chairing a meeting at the Chief Minister Secretariat, Quetta to review the progress of proposed and ongoing development projects related to the administrative affairs of Koh Suleman Division and provision of basic facilities to the people.
The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing development schemes, improvement of infrastructure, provision of public services, education, health, communication, clean drinking water and other important sectors in various districts of Koh Suleman Division in detail.
Commissioner Koh Suleman Division Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani briefed the Chief Minister about the ongoing and proposed projects and informed him about the current status of implementation of various projects.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing the meeting said that sustainable development of Koh Suleman Division and provision of basic facilities to the people there are among the top priorities of the government.
He stated that the fruits of development projects should reach the people and to achieve this goal, all the concerned institutions should discharge their responsibilities with complete honesty, transparency and professionalism.
The Chief Minister directed that the pace of implementation of ongoing development projects should be further accelerated and they would be completed within the stipulated time so that the problems being faced by the people could be resolved in a timely manner.
He stressed that no compromise should be made on the quality of the projects and effective monitoring of all development schemes to be ensured.
Bugti said that provision of basic facilities in remote areas is the responsibility of the government and the available resources in this regard would be utilized for public welfare.
The meeting also considered various suggestions and recommendations to make the ongoing development activities, administrative measures and provision of public services in Koh Suleman Division more effective.
