Karachi police chief reviews security arrangements at Pakistan Stock Exchange

Additional Inspector General of Police – Karachi Azad Khan on Tuesday visited the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to review security arrangements and assess the overall security situation.

KARACHI, Jun 02 (APP): Additional Inspector General of Police – Karachi Azad Khan on Tuesday visited the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to review security arrangements and assess the overall security situation.
According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, the city police chief was accompanied by the SSP City and other senior officers during the visit. He was briefed on the security measures in place and the prevailing security environment at the stock exchange.
The Additional IGP Karachi also met police personnel deployed on security duty and commended their performance. He directed them to remain fully vigilant and perform their duties with utmost professionalism and dedication.
Later, he held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Stock Exchange and other officials. Matters relating to law and order, business activities and measures to strengthen investor confidence came under discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Karachi police chief said the force remained fully committed to maintaining law and order, preventing crime and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens. He added that Karachi Police was utilising modern technology, effective strategies and professional expertise to ensure a secure environment across the city.
