MNS-UET Multan decides to begin Ph.D, MS programs

The Academic Council of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET), Multan, assembled at an important meeting here Monday and took some key decisions including launching MS and Ph.D programs.

MULTAN, Jun 01 (APP): The Academic Council of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET), Multan, assembled at an important meeting here Monday and took some key decisions including launching MS and Ph.D programs.
The meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Tausif Ijaz and attended by Registrar Prof. Dr. Asim Umar, deans of various faculties, heads of departments, and faculty members, discussed academic and research matters aimed at strengthening the institution’s educational standards and future growth.
During the session, the council reviewed a wide range of issues related to academic and research development, curriculum enhancement, and the introduction of new academic programmes.
The Academic Council approved the launch of several new academic programmes designed to meet emerging educational and industry requirements. It also granted approval for the introduction of Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes, marking a significant step towards promoting higher education and research at the university.
The newly approved postgraduate programmes are expected to provide students with greater opportunities for advanced studies, innovation, and research, while contributing to the development of a skilled workforce capable of competing at national and international levels.
Speaking on the occasion, VC Dr. Tausif Ijaz said, the university was continuously expanding and upgrading its academic offerings in line with modern educational needs. He added that the institution remained committed to providing quality education and creating a conducive environment to research and professional excellence.
