Governor Balochistan highlights youth empowerment agenda in upcoming budget

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has announced that the upcoming 2026–27 annual budget will place special focus on empowering the province’s youth through education, skills development, and employment opportunities.

QUETTA, May 31 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has announced that the upcoming 2026–27 annual budget will place special focus on empowering the province’s youth through education, skills development, and employment opportunities.
Speaking at a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) parliamentarians at Governor House Quetta, Mandokhail said the government recognizes young people as the architects of the future and partners in present development. He emphasized that tackling poverty and unemployment in the province requires practical measures, and a new program has been designed to provide thousands of youth with dignified jobs and modern career pathways.
The Governor revealed that at Bolan Medical University, more than ten new medical courses and diploma programs have been launched, enabling graduates to secure employment immediately upon completion. He added that similar investments are being made across public sector universities to integrate quality education with modern skill-building programs, including professional training, online IT courses, and medical diplomas.
Jaffar Mandokhail stressed that by equipping students with both academic knowledge and practical skills, they will be prepared to enter a dynamic job market and lead in diverse fields aligned with the demands of the 21st century. He urged young people to harness their hidden talents, strengthen their patriotism, and play an active role in national development.
He assured that with proper education, training, and empowerment, Balochistan’s youth will not only become educated and capable but also emerge as leaders, innovators, and contributors across multiple sectors.
The meeting was attended by PML-N Parliamentary Leader Mir Saleem Khosa, Provincial General Secretary Jamal Shah Kakar, MNA Akhtar Bibi, provincial ministers Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Mir Asim Kurd Gillo, Zarak Khan Mandokhail, Haji Barkat Rind, Hadia Nawaz, Naseem-ur-Rehman Malakhail, and other senior leaders.
