ISLAMABAD, May 27 (APP): Ministry of Municipalities and Housing intensified inspection and monitoring operations at authorized barbershops in the holy sites during Eid Al-Adha to ensure safe and hygienic services for pilgrims during Hajj 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), field inspection teams of the Holy Makkah Municipality continued operational and supervisory plans across Mina and other holy sites as pilgrims performed hair shaving and trimming rituals following the stoning of Jamrat Al-Aqaba.
Inspection teams monitored workers’ compliance with health and hygiene regulations, including the use of sterilized equipment, single-use shaving materials and environmental cleanliness inside and around barbershop facilities.
SPA told APP that municipal authorities were carrying out extensive field visits to maintain a healthy and safe environment for pilgrims during the busy Eid period.
Authorities said monitoring operations would continue throughout the “Days of Tashreeq” to improve the quality of municipal services and facilitate pilgrims during the remaining Hajj rituals.
Saudi authorities continue implementing integrated operational plans across the holy sites to ensure pilgrims perform rituals safely, smoothly and comfortably.
