ISLAMABAD, May 25 (APP):Saudi Energy has deployed smart bracelets, body cameras and advanced firefighting robots at the holy sites during Hajj 1447 AH to strengthen operational safety and improve emergency response systems.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the company introduced an integrated smart safety system aimed at enhancing field readiness, rapid response and uninterrupted operational services during the Hajj season.
The report said live-streaming body cameras linked through secure digital systems are being used to support operations centers and improve monitoring and handling of field incidents.

Authorities said smart bracelets have also been provided to field workers to monitor vital signs, track locations and send instant alerts to security and crisis-management centers during emergencies.
SPA told APP that the bracelets include an SOS emergency feature to help teams respond quickly to accidents and medical situations in the field.
The report said Saudi Energy additionally deployed specialized firefighting robots capable of handling fire incidents while reducing direct risks to emergency personnel.
Authorities added that the robots are connected with thermal and surveillance cameras linked to command-and-control centers for faster assessment and decision-making during emergencies.
According to SPA, the company also strengthened security systems through AI-powered surveillance cameras installed at key electricity network locations to detect unusual situations and improve operational preparedness.
The report added that the smart technologies are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted electricity services and improving safety for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
