DG Safe City reviews progress on Safe City expansion project
An official told APP on Sunday that technical teams of Safe City Islamabad and ONPL participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the next phase of the project, technical upgradation, network integration and measures to further improve system performance and operational efficiency.
The official said various technological aspects of the project expansion were reviewed to ensure effective monitoring and modern policing facilities in line with contemporary security requirements.
Haroon Joya emphasized the importance of advanced technology in enhancing public safety, traffic management and emergency response systems across the capital.
He said Islamabad Police was continuously working on integrated and technology-driven policing solutions to provide better security and improved services to citizens.
The DG Safe City reiterated that all available resources were being utilized to further strengthen the Safe City system and ensure a safer environment in the federal capital.
