Police have conducted a swift operation and arrested a man accused of attacking and injuring his father with a knife in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan police station here on Wednesday.

RAWALPINDI, May 20 (APP): Police have conducted a swift operation and arrested a man accused of attacking and injuring his father with a knife in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan police station here on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson, the suspect assaulted his father after being refused money for drugs.

The injured man sustained knife wounds during the incident.

Police promptly registered a case and took the accused into custody.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad stated that the suspect would be challaned in court with solid evidence to ensure legal action is taken against him.
