ATTOCK, May 18 (APP):A man was seriously injured on Monday after his brother-in-law allegedly opened fire on him near the District Court Complex in a suspected revenge attack linked to a family dispute.
The police sources said that a 33-year-old Nasir Ali suffered a gunshot wound when the suspect allegedly shot him near the district courts.
They said tensions between the two families had escalated after the suspect’s sister filed a family lawsuit, deepening the ongoing dispute.
The Rescue 1122 team responded to the scene, administered first aid and transported the injured man to District Headquarters Hospital .
The police launched an investigation after the shooting and were searching for the suspect, who fled the scene following the attack.
