Makkah Mukarramah , May 17 (APP):Over 100000 Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia via the ‘Route to Makkah’ project and various Hajj flights from different cities of Pakistan, marking the completion of approximately 82 percent of the government Hajj quota.
According to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the arrival of pilgrims in the Holy Land is continuing at a rapid pace, with only 18 percent remaining to arrive.
The spokesperson further stated that 176 Hajj flights have landed in Madinah Munawara, while 212 flights have arrived at Jeddah airport so far. Out of the total arrived pilgrims, 94 percent are currently stationed in Makkah Mukarramah, while the remaining 6 percent are residing in Madinah Munawara.
According to the latest data, 44,383 pilgrims arrived from Pakistan to Madinah Munawara, out of which 38,470 completed their eight-day stay and have been shifted to Makkah Mukarramah.
Additionally, 52,825 pilgrims arrived directly in Makkah via Jeddah.
To ensure seamless services for the pilgrims, 97 percent of the welfare deployment has been completed. This includes 99 percent of the medical staff (HMM), 98 percent of the Khuddam (pilgrim helpers), and 93 percent of the technical, SDS, and media staff who have actively assumed their duties across the holy stations.
