Punjab govt committed to public relief: Bilal Yasin

Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited various areas of his constituency and reviewed ongoing development works, here on Saturday.

LAHORE, May 16 (APP): Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited various areas of his constituency and reviewed ongoing development works, here on Saturday.
He received a warm welcome from residents and party workers upon his arrival in the area.
On the occasion, the minister said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had provided a historic budget at the union council level to resolve long-standing public issues. He said all available resources of the Punjab government were being utilized to ensure provision of basic facilities to citizens.
Bilal Yasin said no compromise would be made on transparency and quality in development projects. He added that direct public engagement was essential for effective resolution of issues and improved governance.
The provincial minister also thanked the chief minister for lifting restrictions on business timings, saying the decision had provided relief to the trader community and helped improve business activities. He expressed hope that a reduction in petroleum prices would soon bring further relief to the public.
