RAWALPINDI, May 16 (APP): Police have arrested three drug supplier including a female drug pusher and recovered more than 17 kilograms of drugs from their possession during crackdown here on Saturday.
According to police, Saddar Barooni police during the operation held highly wanted drug pusher with 10.8 kg of drugs.
Another suspect was found in possession of 6 kg of drugs while the female suspect was arrested for carrying 600 grams of the narcotic.
Police said one of the arrested suspects has a criminal record and was previously involved in multiple cases, including terrorism, murder, attempted murder, narcotics, and illegal weapons charges.
During initial investigations, the suspects reportedly confessed to supplying drugs to various areas across the city, including universities and colleges.
Police official stated that strict measures are being taken to eliminate the menace of narcotics and dismantle drug supply networks operating in the city.
