Alhamra hosts literary, musical tribute to “Marka-e-Haq”

LAHORE, May 14 (APP):Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) on Thursday organized a grand series of literary and cultural festivities to celebrate the successful completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq,” highlighting national unity, patriotism and Pakistan’s rich cultural identity through art and music.

The event was organized to project Pakistan’s enlightened and progressive image while emphasizing the role of arts and culture in strengthening national identity and promoting a positive narrative of the country at the global level.

A special musical evening remained the highlight of the celebrations, where renowned singers and young performers presented patriotic songs and national anthems, receiving tremendous appreciation from the audience. Popular patriotic renditions, including “Aey Puttar Hattan Te Nahi Wikde,” “Hai Jazba Junoon Tu Himmat Na Haar,” “Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai,” “Dil Dil Pakistan,” “Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhey,” “Pak Watan,” “Hum Zinda Qaum Hain,” “Watan Ki Matti Gawah Rehna,” and “Mera Paigham Pakistan,” created an atmosphere filled with national pride and emotional devotion to the homeland.

The performances were delivered by noted singers Hamed Ali Khan, Nayab Ali Khan, Imran Shaukat, Abdul Rauf and Iman Ali, along with talented students from the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts and Kinnaird College for Women University. Through their performances, the artists conveyed strong messages of patriotism, unity and cultural harmony.

Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Nawaz Gondal, Secretary Board of Revenue Shafqat Ullah Mushtaq, members of the artistic community and a large number of citizens attended the event.

Addressing the ceremony, Muhammad Nawaz Gondal said the “Marka-e-Haq” celebrations reflected the nation’s spirit, unity and cultural strength. He said Alhamra was transforming patriotism into a vibrant artistic expression to pay tribute to national heroes and showcase Pakistan’s dignity, resilience and cultural richness before the world.
