SARGODHA, May 13 (APP): Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali visited Chak 129-NB along with Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry and held a ‘Maryam Nawaz Baithak’ under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif aimed at resolving public issues at the grassroots level.
According to the official spokesperson here on Wednesday, during the visit, the commissioner met local residents, listened to their complaints and directed the concerned departments to ensure immediate resolution of civic problems.
He said the Punjab government was taking practical steps to address citizens’ issues at their doorstep and that the ‘Maryam Nawaz Baithak’ initiative was designed to strengthen direct communication between the public and the administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry said the district administration was paying special attention to public welfare projects and ensuring the provision of basic facilities in rural areas.
The officials also reviewed sanitation arrangements, drainage conditions, road infrastructure and other civic amenities during the visit.
Officers of the relevant departments were also present on the occasion.
