ISLAMABAD, May 12 (APP):A rank pinning ceremony was held on Tuesday in honour of 118 constables of the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) North Region who were promoted to the rank of Head Constable (Assistant Patrol Officer).
The ceremony was attended by Additional Inspector General (North Region), DIG N-5 North Zone and DIG Motorway North Zone, who congratulated the promoted officers and pinned the new ranks on them, said a press release.
On the occasion, Additional IG North Region said that timely promotion is the fundamental right of every officer. The process of promotions has been completed according to merit, seniority and rules / regulations. The promotion is the result and recognition of the hard work and professional performance of the officers.
The families of the promoted Head Constables also attended the ceremony. The National Highways & Motorway Police remains fully committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and merit-based career progression of its officers.
