IESCO notifies power suspension programme

ISLAMABAD, May 12 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply in areas falling under Islamabad Circle, including Angori, Golf City, Tret, Shahpur, NIH, T&T 17 Miles, Bhara Kahu, Bhara Kahu-II, Bahria Golf City, Park View City-I and Athal feeders, will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
Similarly, electricity supply in areas connected with Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, including NPF-I, NPF-II, Doctor Town, PWD-I, PWD-II, Japan Road and Jhandala feeders, will also remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
In Jhelum Circle, power supply to areas fed by New Sanghoi, Chotala, Khai Khulia, Akram Shaheed and Zubair Shaheed feeders will remain suspended during the same timings from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Meanwhile, under GSO Circle, electricity supply from 132-KV Chakwal-Bhagwal-Talagang and 132-KV Kahuta City-Palandri transmission lines and adjoining areas will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
