Pakistan Railways holds rally to mark Marka-e-Haq anniversary

LAHORE, May 10 (APP):Pakistan Railways on Sunday organized a rally at Lahore Railway Station to commemorate
the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, with CEO Railways Muhammad Hafeezullah leading a large gathering of employees and porters in solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
Addressing the rally, the CEO described the day as a moment of pride and triumph for the nation and paid tribute to the armed forces on the completion of one year since Marka-e-Haq.
He said the entire Pakistani nation was celebrating the day with enthusiasm and national spirit.
Recalling the events of the last year, he said the enemy had attempted to target the sacred land of Pakistan, but the Pakistan Army responded with full strength and determination. He added that on May 10, the enemy realized that the Pakistan Army stood like an iron wall in defence of the country.
The CEO also highlighted the role of Pakistan Railways during the critical period, stating that the department stood shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces of Pakistan during Marka-e-Haq.
He said Pakistan Railways was proud of fulfilling its national responsibility during that time.The ceremony was also attended by AGM Traffic, DS Railway and other senior officers of Pakistan Railways.
