ISLAMABAD, May 07 (APP):Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) was continuing efforts to facilitate the departure of Pakistani pilgrims through Lahore International Airport under the Makkah Route Initiative for the Hajj 1447 AH season through advanced digital solutions powered by data and artificial intelligence.
According to SPA, the initiative was being implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Interior under the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, in coordination with several government and private entities.

Engineering and technical teams were working round the clock to ensure operational readiness and uninterrupted system performance with high efficiency to facilitate smooth processing of pilgrims at the airport.
The authority said fixed and mobile workstations have been deployed while technical infrastructure at the initiative lounge has been prepared to the highest standards to accelerate completion of procedures for pilgrims.
Talking to APP, pilgrim Rai Imran Hanif said the efficient and fast process at Lahore airport had made the journey much easier for pilgrims. He said many pilgrims had expected lengthy procedures and difficulties, but the organized system and quick processing created a comfortable experience before departure for Hajj.
The integrated digital system was aimed to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality and ensure quicker processing of travel procedures for pilgrims heading to the holy sites during the Hajj season.
