FAISALABAD, May 06 (APP): Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan, Khateeb and Imam of Badshahi Mosque Lahore and Ambassador of Peace Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad on Wednesday said that the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq (Bunyan-um-Marsoos) has proven Pakistan to be an invincible state while the entire nation paid tribute to the unprecedented sacrifices of the Pakistan armed forces and martyrs.
He expressed these views while presiding over the ‘Marka-e-Haq and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Conference” at Chenab Club Faisalabad in connection with the completion of one year of the landmark success.
The conference was organized to pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, highlight Pakistan’s positive role in reducing tensions in the Middle East and promote national unity, interfaith harmony and the message of peace.
Addressing the gathering, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad said that the great victory of Marka-e-Haq was a special blessing from Allah Almighty and the entire nation was celebrating the day with enthusiasm and gratitude.
He said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, the Pak armed forces compelled the enemy to bow down and crushed its arrogance.
He said that Pakistan is a great blessing of Allah Almighty, achieved through immense sacrifices, and today it stands as a strong fortress of the Muslim world with ever-strengthening defense capabilities.
He said that the nation takes pride in its leadership and armed forces, whose strategic vision and courage have made the country’s defense impregnable while enhancing its global prestige.
Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad said that Pakistan responded effectively to enemy designs and exposed conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the country. The nation remains vigilant against hostile elements and fully capable of defending its sovereignty, he added.
He also appreciated the role of national leadership including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for demonstrating political wisdom alongside military leadership, which helped strengthen Pakistan’s position internationally and contributed to peace efforts in the region.
Divisional Commissioner Faisalabad Madam Musarrat Jabeen, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir, City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar and Zonal Administrator Auqaf Shaukat Iqbal were also present in the conference in addition to the members of district and divisional peace committees, scholars of various schools of thought, religious leaders, Christian clergy, social figures and a large number of citizens.
The other speakers emphasized that the success of Marka-e-Haq was the result of unity, faith, discipline and collective national resolve.
They said that when the enemy attempted aggression, the entire nation, government, armed forces and scholars of all schools of thought stood united like a solid wall and foiled hostile designs.
They reiterated that the nation would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces to eliminate all forms of extremism and terrorism and to safeguard the country against any threats.
The participants also expressed full solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces, waved national flags and raised slogans in favor of Pakistan and its armed forces.
Special prayers were also offered for peace, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, unity of the Muslim Ummah, protection of holy sites, and freedom of oppressed people in occupied regions.
