JACOBABAD, Apr 29 (APP):Two highly wanted dacoits on Wednesday were killed in a police encounter near Kashmore area, the police said.
The operation was carried out on the directives of SSP, Kashmore, Mohammad Murad Ghanghro.
According to the police, the deceased were identified as Fareed Mirani and Bhuro alias Bhural, who were wanted in multiple serious criminal cases, including murder, kidnapping for ransom, attacks on police, and armed robbery, and had been active across several districts.
They said that a bounty of Rs10 million had also been recommended for Fareed Mirani.
The police recovered illegal weapons included a Kalashnikov, a pistol, and a bulletproof jacket from their possessions.
A search operation was ongoing in the area, while efforts had been intensified to apprehend the other suspects, the police added.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities.
