Friday holiday to be abolished soon in schools: Minister Sikandar

LAHORE, Apr 27 (APP):Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has made an important statement regarding Friday holiday in schools, in which he has said that Friday holiday will be abolished and educational institutions will soon return to the regular schedule.
He has denied all the news circulating regarding maintaining Friday holiday in schools on a permanent basis.
Rana Sikandar Hayat said that Friday holiday is not being made permanent and it will be completely abolished in the coming weeks.
The Minister also discussed the ongoing speculations regarding the summer vacations. He said that the final decision on the reduction of the vacations or their schedule will be taken after May 15. Any decision in this regard will come out only after the final approval of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
