WASA, PDP officials review Faisalabad uplift schemes, push for quality and speedy completion

FAISALABAD, Apr 27 (APP):Senior officials of Water and Sanitation Agency Faisalabad and the Punjab Development Program reviewed progress on ongoing uplift projects in the city, stressing strict adherence to quality standards and timely completion.
Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza held a meeting at the head office with Deputy Project Director PDP Qaisar Raza, who was on a visit to Faisalabad to discuss in detail various development schemes being executed under the Punjab Development Program.
Deputy Managing Director Engineering Shoaib Zia, Director Construction Hayat Randhawa,
and officers including Owais Jamal and Asad Ali were also present during the meeting.
Later, Qaisar Raza visited multiple project sites, including Hockey Stadium Madina Town and
Crescent Ground Sheikhupura Road, to inspect ongoing development works and review the
pace of progress.
During inspections, he directed the concerned officials to further accelerate construction activities
and ensure the use of high-quality pipes and materials in all schemes to guarantee durability and
efficiency.
Speaking on the occasion, MD WASA reiterated that special focus was being given to safety measures
at all project sites and that standard operating procedures issued by the Punjab government were
being strictly implemented.
He emphasized that timely completion of these development projects, coupled with quality assurance
and safety compliance, would significantly improve urban infrastructure and service delivery in Faisalabad.
