ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) Aiwan-e-Sadr/Parliament House Tahir Khan and SP Judicial Protection Unit Iqbal Khan visited various locations in the Red Zone to review security arrangements.
An official told APP on Sunday that the officers inspected deployment and assessed security at different duty points in the sensitive area.
He said both officers issued necessary instructions to personnel to remain alert and perform their duties with vigilance and professionalism.
The official said emphasis was laid on understanding the nature of duties and ensuring preparedness to deal with any situation.
He said the officers also stressed coordination among deployed personnel to maintain effective security.
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring foolproof security and maintaining law and order in the federal capital.
