DPM/FM reiterates Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate Iran-US talks

ISLAMABAD, Apr 25 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Saturday, reiterated that Pakistan was facilitating Iran-US talks for achieving peace and stability in the region and beyond and it would continue with its efforts in this regard.
The DPM/FM held a meeting today to review the latest developments in the region, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
Dar also underlined that Pakistan’s official policy statements on the Iran-US facilitation process were only those issued by official sources.
He said, unnamed Pakistani officials or sources, whether quoted in print or social media, did not reflect Pakistan’s official position.
He advised the print and electronic media to refrain from speculative reporting and focus only on official statements.
