A 24-year-old man on Thursday was seriously injured after a truck overturned on a road in the Layyah district, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

MUZAFFARGARH, Apr 23 (APP): A 24-year-old man on Thursday was seriously injured after a truck overturned on a road in the Layyah district, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

The incident occurred on MM Road near Adda Rehmatabad area, where the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle after falling asleep. As a result, the truck veered off the road and overturned, they added.

The Rescue sources identified the injured as Muhammad Akmal, a resident of Muzaffargarh sustained a head injury in the accident.

A Rescue 1122 team after providing first aid, shifted the injured to RHC Hospital Mehran Dhori Adda.
