Speeding truck crushes woman

FAISALABAD, Apr 22 (APP): A speeding truck has crushed to death a young woman in the area of Khurarianwala police station.
Rescue 1122 spokesman that the accident occurred on Makkoana Bypass Road near Chak No. 205-RB where the truck first collided with a WAPDA electricity pole after its driver reportedly fell asleep.
The vehicle then veered off the road and ran over a woman standing on the roadside, killing her on the spot. The deceased was identified as Kausar Bibi wife of Muhammad Nawaz resident of Chak No.205-RB.
Rescue 1122 shifted the body to Rural Health Centre (RHC) Khurarianwala while further legal proceedings were underway, he added.
