RAWALPINDI, Apr 22 (APP):Officials from various districts were given a detailed briefing on sanitation operations and monitoring systems at the central control room of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC).
Officers from Murree, Chakwal, Jhelum, Attock and Talagang attended the session, while RWMC Chief Executive Officer Rana Sajid Safdar was also present.
Senior managers briefed the participants on different aspects of sanitation operations, modern monitoring systems and strategies to improve performance.
They also shared details regarding field monitoring, efficient use of resources and measures to enhance civic facilities.
Participants appreciated the integrated system of RWMC and expressed interest in adopting similar models in their respective districts.
The meeting resolved to promote coordination and exchange of experiences to further improve sanitation standards under the Suthra Punjab programme.
