Iranian envoy expresses grief over demise of PA Speaker’s sister
LAHORE, Apr 21 (APP):Iranian Consul General to Lahore Mehran Movahedfar called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan in his chamber and offered condolences over the demise of his sister, here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Iranian Consul General expressed deep sorrow over the bereavement and offered Fateha for the departed soul. He prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks in Jannah and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.
He also expressed solidarity with the Speaker and said that he stands with him in this moment of grief, praying for patience and strength for the family.
The Consul General further prayed for forgiveness for the deceased and her higher status in the hereafter.
Member of the Provincial Assembly Malik Ahmad Saeed Khan was also present on the occasion.
