The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 19 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply in Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm in F-10 Markaz, F-10 and F-10/3 areas. Additionally, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm, electricity will remain off in Kuldana, Gharial, Tret, Khana Dak, Burma, Waheedabad, Rehman Enclave, Khanna East, Khana-II, Al Noor Colony, Shareefabad, Ghouri Garden and Scheme-I feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Qureshiabad, Rehmatabad-1, Moorat, Kohala, Fatima Jinnah, Chaklala, Takbeer-I, Takbeer-II, Takbeer-III and Kot Jabbi feeders.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity will remain unavailable from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Sector-IV, APHS and PAF feeders.
In Attock Circle, the power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Attock Rural, Teen Mela and Bagh Nelab feeders, while in Jhelum Circle, outages will be observed during the same hours in Khai Kulia, Nathwala, Sanghoi and Safdar Shaheed feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 05:00 pm in Azad Pattan. Additionally, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, electricity will remain off on 132KV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF South (POS-4), while from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm outages will affect 132-KV Chakwal-Bhagwal-Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City-Palandri transmission lines.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
