IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply from Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm in areas including Taramri, Waheedabad, Kund Rajgan, King Hammad, Azad Shaheed, Lehtrar Road, Chatta Bakhtawar, Kuri Road and Rehara feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Khasala, Basali, Jarar Camp, Bhall and Jatha Hathial feeders.
Similarly, in Attock Circle, electricity will remain unavailable during the same timings in Attock Cantt, Dhoke Fateh, Dar-ul-Islam Colony and Katchery feeders.
In Chakwal Circle, the outage from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm will affect Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm on 132KV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF South line, and from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm on 132KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines, along with adjoining areas.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
