ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP):The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.96 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.97.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.00 and Rs 280.10, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.28 to close at Rs 328.79 from the previous day’s close of Rs 328.51, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs 1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.82 and closed at Rs 378.25 compared to the previous day’s Rs 377.43.

The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham came down by 02 paisa to close at Rs 75.94 while the Saudi Riyal went up by 01 and closed at Rs 74.34.
