IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Apr 14 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply from Rawalpindi Cantt Circle will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas including Gulshan-e-Saeed, Old Rawat, New Rawat, AOWHS, SUPARCO and DHA Homes feeders.
Similarly, in Attock Circle, power supply will remain disrupted from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm on Shakar Dara feeder, while in Chakwal Circle, the outage during the same timings will affect Main Bazar feeder.
In Jhelum Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas including New Sanghoi, Chotala, Khai Khulia, City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Kulia, Kountrilla and Bhai Khan feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 05:00 pm in Azad Pattan area, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm on 132KV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF South line, and from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm on 132KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines, along with adjoining areas.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
