QUETTA, Apr 14 (APP):The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has published the preliminary list of new delimitations for local councils in Quetta District. The announcement was made by the District Election Commissioner Quetta, who also serves as the convener of the delimitation committee.
According to the notification, objections to the proposed delimitations may be filed between April 15 and April 29, 2026, with the Delimitation Authority, which is the Regional Election Commissioner for Quetta Division. The authority will review and decide on all objections by May 14, 2026.
The ECP has urged the public to carefully review the proposed delimitations and submit any objections within the stipulated timeframe. The final list of delimitations is scheduled to be published on May 21, 2026.
